Waitress The Musical | You Matter to Me
Since Waitress is coming back on Broadway (and it is also one of my faves) I just really wanna post this certain part which always hits me so hard. I know what they’re doing is bad (affair) but OH MY GAHD, meeting THE person that you have always been looking for in the wrong time just really sucks man.
Noticed how much they say “You Matter to Me” (which I know is the title of the song lmao) really shows how much it really means and what hurts more is that they know they can’t be together but still feels this way about each other.
Jim’s last words to Jenna, “Another lifetime.” really makes me drown myself with my own tears. T_T
that’s all :>
#aboutlastnight Visited the Majestic Theatre last night for the The Phantom of the Opera reopening. The last time I saw this show was 30 years ago! It was a fabulous celebration of Broadway from the decked out theatre to the committed cosplayers and the after party closing down 44th street with Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber running the DJ booth! A proper homecoming for THE Broadway staple.
Tears of laughter! This show is stupid in the best way possible. Worthy of the hype!
Tears of joy and pride at my friend Ray who played Pirelli at Sweeney Todd. Bravo!!!!!

Howling with laughter because of Sutton and the entirety of this amazing cast (Daniel Breakman, Michael Urie, Will Chase, Nikki Renee Daniels, Ana Gasteyer, David Patrick Kelly, Brooks Ashmanskas) and book adaptation by Amy Sherman-Palladino. Yet another wonderful transfer from New York City Center.
Yes, tears. The hype is real. My top three defining theater moments over the past decade have been: Hamilton (original Broadway cast), A Strange Loop, and now Stereophonic. Truly phenomenal. Go see it!
No tears at & Juliet, but it was very funny! (Also, the Stephen Sondheim Theatre is very modern — who knew?)
