7: What I want to be when I'm older
I used to know exactly! I was going to be a pop star/writer/President. That changed somewhere along the way...
Bottom line, I'm not sure. I ruled politics out when I became involved in some really extreme anti-war groups and realized how depressing a life it would be (for me, at least). I'd love to do something with writing, but that's not a very reliable career unless you're super self-motivated, which I'm not. I've been considering teaching since I interned with my old creative writing department. I'm also really interested in taking journalism classes and seeing what options are available in that field.
18: Something I'm really good at
I'm good at staying optimistic about the future. That's been really useful. Sometimes I can't see past the end of a year or even a week, but I'm always able to look ahead five or ten years ahead and think that things will be good then.
24: A random fact about yourself
I've loved almost all of my teachers. I tend to get really attached to them. There are definitely the exceptions, but through elementary, middle, and parts of high school, I became very close with a lot of my teachers and keep in touch with a lot of them. (The exceptions were mostly at my academic high school, which I didn't like in general, but my after-school program made up for it.)
