I guess this is me trying to express what it feels like to have had a relatively happy (if not completely abuse-free) childhood, and an adolescence full of abuse. I can't quite think of the happy childhood moments anymore without remembering the fact I lost all of those people, all of those places, and all of those moments to trauma and pain.
Sometimes, the fact that things will never be how they used to suffocates me. (Is this mourning?)
I can't wait until the good memories of my life outnumber the bad ones again.
(Art style inspired by britchida on Instagram! I really recommend checking out their art; it's incredibly cathartic)
