I had my first day of clinicals for the semester and I got to go see the NICU!! It was so incredible to finally be where I’ve wanted to be since starting nursing school!
I also had a presentation during clinicals today, took a quiz in clinical, and took another quiz online that I hadn’t expected to be able to get to doing today. I prepared for tomorrow, and now I’m ready to try to get some sleep before I start what might be the second craziest day this week!

It’s been forever since I’ve posted! This semester has been the most difficult one I’ve experienced so far with work, struggling to pass classes, financial headaches, and family problems!
Luckily, today my clinical experience was cancelled so I’ve had all day to sleep in, do some laundry, work on a group project, and study for a big exam on Wednesday.
I have work this afternoon and then a pretty open evening, so I’m hoping I’ll be able to get lots more done after work!

3/26/18-So this has been a really rough day, I didn't get as much done as I would've liked, my digestive problems have been flaring up, people were super draining, and i just generally didn't feel good today, but I still managed to study for a quiz, and start on a paper!
Here's to tomorrow being a better day filled with more productivity than today!

1/16/18-Productivity is such a funny thing, because somedays(ahem today) I feel like I've done absolutely nothing, but then I go to write my productivity post and I realize I've done more than I thought. Today, for example, I planned some more assignments, took a quiz that had to be done by Friday, started a one page paper that's due this weekend, went to three classes/labs, and worked. I know I can do more and I will continue to push myself to do more, but for now I am happy with the small things like doing more than I thought I had done!

12/10/17-I finished my last project of the semester today, and worked on studying for my first of five exams this week!!
Fun fact about me: I am an avid list-maker and I love every little thing I get to cross off of my lists! I have already made "to do" lists for almost everyday this week and I am loving it!

12/1/17-Today wasn't overly productive, but I got through classes, studied for a quiz, and went to lab.
I also gave myself a nice break by having a gift exchange and movie night with my hall. It's hard to believe that in 14 short days I'll be going home for Christmas!
My apologies
So last semester was one of the craziest of my life, my mental and physical health were worse than they have ever been, and a lot of things were happening with family back home that I couldn’t be there for when they needed me. All of this to say, I’m very sorry for not being more active recently, but as you can tell there were a few other things on my mind!
I hope to get more active and start contributing more to the studyblr community, but I just want to address the fact that all or most of us are students with our own struggles, and I want to remind everyone to be patient with yourself and others. If you have a day when things are just crazy and you can’t find time to work on that post you’ve been meaning to get up, or you are at your worst health wise and can’t even seem to get out of bed, just know that as long as you are still doing your best for whatever point you are at you can still be just as proud of yourself as you would be if you were still on top of everything and staying ahead in school.
The world tries to tell us that we have to be productive and we have to keep moving forward, but sometimes you need to take a step back from the world’s expectations and rest, and that’s ok!
