I FINALLY FINISHED MAKING THIS ONE IT TOOK A WEEK
Where did Lucifer come from in mythology?
A misunderstanding and mistranslation of Isaiah 14:12.
Lucifer is not Satan, itβs a mistranslation of a Hebrew word into a Latin one.
Jerome, responsible for the translation of the Hebrew Scriptures into Latin, did not speak Hebrew, and misunderstood the word ΧΦ΅ΧΧΦ΅Φ£Χ to be a proper name, which he translated into Latin, via Greek, as Light bringer,Β lux fer, and combined the two into a name, Lucifer.
Lucifer actually refers to the king of Babylon, most likely Nebuchadnezzar II, as that same chapter makes clear in verse 4.
