Not sure if anyone is interested about Berkson’s paradox. I’m still good to post this anyway.

A pretty easy pulley problem with El the Elephant and friends. A slightly more interesting problem is how much more El needs to weigh than the average weight of her friends to lift them.

Guard Puzzle from Brilliant.org. Not quite sure how this would fit into a TTRPG adventure, but it's a neat little conundrum. I suppose they might be magic sensors or golems?

BRILLIANT.ORG WHAT THE FUCK
Just Finished Algebra Fundamentals
So, I just finished the Algebra Fundamentals course on Brilliant.org
You know, I thought it would be pretty east. I thought I knew most of it from high school.
But, I actually learned a lot.
The shortcuts and geometric identifies have made a lot of things more intuitive. And they’ve shown me that algebra is a lot more related to geometry than I thought.
The Rates & Ratios section kicked my ass. I’ll need to go back over that sometime, or find more practice problems for proportions. I know if I don’t get the hang of Rates & Ratios I won’t be any good at any physics stuff.

A nice Algebra question from Brilliant.org My solution can be found here: Let me know if you did it a different way.

I found this amazing website which contains lots of crowd-sourced math problems. It even has a wiki page containing clues on how to solve the problem. Just though I should share it just in case you guys might be interested. They have an iOS and Android app just in case you might also want to do them in your mobile device.
I’ve never been good at math, but it has always fascinated me when people are able to solve math problems. I intend to be one of those some day in hopes that I’ll be able to fascinate myself too. =)
