The little chanty hook that kicks off the record with the title track says “fun” from the very beginning. There’s a tightness both to the production and the songwriting on these records in general. 3. Röyksopp - Melody A.M. (4.5/5)

Only familiar with a few of their more popular songs, I went into this album with the unfortunate pretense that the early released title track single would dominate the album, leaving the rest of the songs to serve as background noise. How wrong I was as the entire album is a powerhouse of giant, positive sounds, with a perfect blend of male and female vocals. I'm going to sit this one on the proverbial shelf next to similar favorites like Ok Go's Of the Blue Colour of the Sky and Arcade Fire's The Suburbs.
