i didn’t know it was part of the dmbj universe (is that the correct terminology?) until i got like 2/3 eps in and then i was like something about this seems awfully familiar to stuff i’ve seen beloved mutual brigid on tumblr post about which is when i went to my drama list to try understand what the fuck was happening and then i found out it was part of that whole sphere and ALSO that it was going to absolutely decimate me…..i did have to stop watching……i really just can’t do sad and painful…..but i enjoyed the first few eps so much!

i got all the way till after baby landed up in the wheel chair and they were in that town together and they’d just adopted the little girl into the family and mr knives was ambushed by that group in suits? it’s vague…it was a while ago….

you have opened a can of worms that can never ever be closed again. even pandora had better luck.

I LOVE musicals! I always have! for literally as long as I can remember. The Arts™️ have always been a HUGE part of my life. I think before I ever saw my first movie in cinema I saw my first play in a theatre. my family often grumbles adoringly about the fact that I used to make EVERYONE sing along (and dance) to “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” in every single car ride. 6 hour cross province trips with little me were Not for the weak, or the impatient I fear.

so naturally, musicals which intersect the love of music, the love of stage, the love of an act, and the absolute joy of a crowd, have always been something very akin to a life force in me.

so yes haha beloved musicals indeed <3
