You know it's a good, great, amazing day when you drive past A TELEPHONE BOX THAT IS ACTUALLY A BOOKSHELF. 🙌📚🇬🇧 . . We were driving through the Cotswolds this afternoon. I yelped at Chris to please stop the car and we ran around back to it to stock it up with fresh books. (Plus I stealth tidied it which gave me so much joy, because #yolo ). . . Best. Best. Best. Day. You know friends are treasured when years fall away like it was only yesterday. So very grateful to be teleported into shared lands and shared places. Hours and hours of talking and exploring. And of course: we met through running. It was 5am, dark, howling with rain, and we met as strangers united in a Wellington run who had committed to the breakfast afterwards. I like to think that kindred spirit friendships would have found their paths no matter the details of the first spark. But: I'm so fortunate that these conversations lit when they did, and have burned brightly ever since, and with the people they do. . .
