She had already offered her help to Meryasek, and she loath to step back on her word, but she will have to discuss with the King about her witches as she can’t deny that she needs to ensure no more are tempted by Asphodel. “With things as they are, we are going to be expected to take sides, and I had been in talks with King Meryasek before the whole debacle with Remus.”

“If you offer me cold waffle house waffles, even if you do it from the kindness of your heart, I am throwing you into the river Keket,” she warns as she sighs in exasperation, looking at the sad offering with contempt. Figures that she somehow managed to get herself banned from New Rome without knowing what the fuck she had done. Figures that it happens to have the only waffle house in fucking Rome. “Aside from that, how are you doing? I saw the new clinic.”

"I am here to check to check on you," Andruil offers as Clara opens the door and she sends the Aspect a rueful smile. She had known the plan for over ten years, and had done nothing to change it. There was no other way for them to win, and she couldn't come to regret their victory, but she does regret that Clara had to go through that once more. She can't do anything to make it better, because at the end they had to sacrifice her to save everyone and she would do it again, but she does regret the other's suffering.
