Summary:

Iida sits next to him outside the bath, holding his hand tightly—as tightly as he had when he caught Izuku out of the sky just a few hours ago.

“You can sleep if you want,” Iida says quietly. “I will make sure you don’t fall in.” Iida’s smile is smaller than his brother’s, more subdued than All Might’s, but it is just as steady. Perhaps more genuine. A quiet I am here, I won’t let you drown that Izuku wishes he could inspire in others.

Trusting his friends to keep him safe, he lays his head against the wall of the bath, but he doesn’t fall asleep.

Across the room, Kirishima catches his eye and gives him a thumbs-up and a grin. Izuku watches him blankly, wishing he could return the smile, but he just can’t.

Basically, I thought the end to the Dark Deku arc was too lighthearted, and I wanted more of a tender, angsty beat about recovering through burnout.

HAHA I used to write genshin a LOT I only recently got bored of it!! My old blog has a lot of genshin fics like two years worth of them—the link to my old works is at the top of my masterlist!! You may have missed it

so like, I left the tumblr platform because life be lifing BUT I have actually still nonstop been playing love and deepspace. Still mainly a Zayne girly but Sylus is right there and, unfortunately, so is Caleb. I love them. I've fallen out of kpop on the downside tho.

But I've kept up with all events and releases for LADS, am a proud day 1 and yes, I'm still screaming about every single innuendo and different cards. Sylus' Kitten Included card alone had me giggling and kicking my feet.

I probably still won't be on as much considering I work at a law firm now and my days are busy but I actually really do want to come back more often because I miss y'all and you guys made my days better when I was down in the dumps.

Maybe I'll start screaming about content again or share screenshots for affinity levels because I have my main 3 over 100. Zayne alone is at 155 now. I'm so jealous of anyone above that, no lie.
