Finally answering these a brief eternity later!

3. Favorite scent and why?

My favorite scent ever is a bit hard to describe. I believe it’s the scent of chamise flowers in bloom, though it may be from manzanita or desert sage brush, or a mixture of the three. I spent a lot of time in the southwest growing up and I remember being able to distinctly smell this during walks in the evening. It’s my favorite because of the positive memories with it and because it’s just a lovely aroma.

More conventionally, I love a lavender and vanilla mix. It’s a very pleasant, calming scent.

10. Dream pet?

My dream pet is rather simple: a friendly, loving cat. My childhood cats were extraordinarily sweet and friendly and I’ve loved cats ever since.

For a more unusual answer, a fancy pigeon. I love birds a lot (owls are my favorite) but most birds that people have are not domesticated and should not be kept as pets. Pigeons are actually a domesticated species and there are tons of pigeon breeds that people have that thrive alongside people. I’d be hesitant to get a pigeon though because they have special needs/health concerns that more common pets like cats and dogs don’t have and I’m unsure if I could take care of one well enough for it to thrive.

11. Song you listened to in childhood?

Interestingly, much of the music I listened to in childhood is still stuff I listen to as an adult. Three Days Grace was one of my favorite bands as a fifth grader.

I’d say “Flawed Design” by Stabilo. I learned of it through Warrior Cats AMVs I watched on my iPod Touch as a child and it helped establish my music taste as an adult.

Other songs that come to mind are “Fireflies” by Owl City and “Servant of Evil” by Akuno-P.

5. Three people you wish you could meet?

I had to do a LOT of brainstorming for this one because this was surprisingly challenging to answer. That’s mainly because everyone I could think of is deceased and it got rather sad.

The people are:

My grandfathers (I’ll include both because I couldn’t decide between them, to tell them how much my family still loves them)

A deceased classmate who was friends with one of my friends (to tell him how wonderful of a lasting impact he had on so many people)

Chester Bennington, former lead singer of Linkin Park (he’s one of my favorite musicians and I think it would have been very cool to talk music with him)

7. Describe a dream you had recently

This was a very funny dream that I went and told multiple people about. In it, my work friends and I were all on a trip to Disneyland. Things were going great at first. Then, it turned out that at the same time there was a group of criminals who all happened to look exactly the same as us in the park and the police were raiding it to catch them. Because they looked exactly the same as us, the police went after us instead. At one point they tased a one of my friends thinking he was someone else, and my dream showed that as police body cam footage of Mickey Mouse terrifiedly watching this go down.

17. Drink of choice

My super basic answer is water. It is very hard to go wrong with water. For a more interesting answer, I quite enjoy earl grey tea.
