He is awareĀ he shouldnāt be here, it was quite obvious given the way he had to sneak around so much, but Anubis had lost something that he couldnāt very well let the humans keep that. He did know who found it, and where it was, and the fact he couldnāt just sneak directly thereĀ was a very frustrating limitation to his magic. He didnāt enjoy the idea of teleporting himself into an unknown space and getting stuck in a wall though.Ā
Sneaking in wasnāt supposed to be as annoying as it was, the humans got a lot more smartĀ and observantĀ than they had previously been before. The item he had lost was easy to track down in an office of some sort, resting on a humans desk being scanned by some odd device. Technology was not a particular strong suit of his, he thought it was a waste of time considering how much it constantly changed. Keeping up with it was to much of a work when he didnāt need to use it.Ā
He made sure the office was empty before making his way over to the desk, reaching down and plucking the golden ankh off of the table top. Torn from his shendyt last night, a particularly nasty cold spirit that didnāt want to move on. Heād been so distracted he had left it behind and by the time he went back to fetch it, theyād already picked it up.Ā
The sound of the door closing jarred him slightly and he turned to look over his shoulder at the man standing there.
