And you're right, Irza is much too closed off to actually say what's on his mind
Thing is that Vara learned his tells very fast...
When Irza is upset, Vara will do very small things, like sitting beside him in silence or leaving him alone for a while...
But here's some moments:
Irza coming back to the apartment and is silent, not looking anywhere, and slamming doors. He'll lock his bedroom door and just stay there...and Vara will bake him some cookies and through his simply devious ways, get it under the door to give Orza a treat...he'll come out maybe an hour layer and the cookies will be gone. They'll sit and watch TV together in silence.
At the hospital beside Irza's mom, Vara will sit beside Irza and rest his head on his shoulder. Irza just...let's him. Usually Vara leaning against him makes him upset, but he'd accept it this time.
Vara will patch up Irza's wounds from battles without asking where they came from...after forcing the dragon to comply. Irza will heal Vara's in return.
There's days Vara comes home upset. He'll be much quieter although he'll still talk, but his ears and tail will droop. Irza takes and those times, when sitting on the couch with Vara, he'll lay across the couch and use Vara as a pillow. Either lap or back entirely against Vara, it varies. Vara will ruffle his hair and accept the hidden comfort.
If Vara comes back from overworking, he'll often pass out in the hallway. Irza will come out and carry Vara back to his plant filled room...supposedly to avoid dealing with him being sick (couldn't possibly bc bc he cares). Vara will sometimes, in his sleep, force Irza to join him on his bed for cuddles until Irza eventually escapes secretly before the cat wakes up. Vara can smell that Irza was there.
If Irza has a nightmare (which is often), Vara will oftentimes hear it and sneak into his room. Once there, he'll join Irza on the bed, hugging him and falling asleep there to comfort him. If he doesn't get out before Irza wakes up he usually gets scratched or bitten...but just like Vara, he can smell if his friend was there that night even if he's already gone.
There's times Irza will vent his emotions into anger and lash out. Vara could be trying to talk to him and they're screaming at each other. Irza would probably end up hitting or somehow striking Vara...but after the cat falls, he gets right back up and charges the now frozen Irza (bc he didn't actually mean to hit Vara) and hugs him. Just clings to him and they stand in silence until Irza calms down.
If Vara is crying, or somehow just upset, Irza will make the only dish he can actually cook (it's not super good when he makes it tho) and give Vara some. He will smile and say it's the best thing he's ever had every time....but count on Irza to make a comeback on how it very much so isn't, resulting in the dragon's hair being messed with and laughter.
As hero and villain, Quickvine (Vara) sometimes finds Voidshire (Irza) standing somewhere and just staring at something with the loneliest look in his eyes. Quickvine will usually come closer and talk to the villain, despite being scared of him. Voidshire takes comfort in it, but makes sure it ends in light hearted banter before he then dashes off to rob someplace, Quickvine chasing after him.
There's fights where the two seem more like Voidshire is attacking just to vent. Quickvine will be trying to calm him down and talk, he already knows this villain isn't a bad person. But Voidshire would shout back something filled with pure pain. He'd keep attacking and...Quickvine wouldn't even fight back. He'll just stand there and let himself be hit until the villain calms down.
If there's ever a time that Quickvine is in genuine danger, like against a different villain or even another hero, Voidshire will appear. It'll be out of nowhere, with the hero about to lose...and he'll block the last hit. I imagine he'd look back at Quickvine, then march forward with a vengeance. No-one touches his hero.

Ranboo was sitting on Tubbo’s desk when the human plopped into the chair behind him. The tiny felt warmer already from his presence, it wasnt the same as sitting next to soemone. Ranboo didnt know he’d miss hugs so much but he’d been in the U.K. for hardly a week and he already felt itchy and lonely the way only touch starvation could make you. There was no one here his size to get hugs from her shoulder bumps or hand touches or pats on the back or... Maybe Ranboo should talk to someone about this.
Ranboo though that being in a house full of giants would have equaled an overwhelming amount of touch, but it almost seemed like Tubbo’s family was scared to touch him. They would call Tubbo in if Ranboo found himself in a place he needed help getting too or off of, and Tubbo avoided touching him accept to take him from place it place. He never even reciprocated when Ranboo tried to high five him, and it was starting to get to him.
“Why don’t you ever touch me?” Oof he didnt mean to blurt that out. This time Ranboo flinched away as well when Tubbo’s hands slipped into his lap, far away from his tiny friend. Ranboo was tall for a tiny, the average being around 5 inches and him being 6 and a half, but even so Tubbo’s hand could curl entirely around his torso and some of his legs.
“I didnt think you’d like it.” Tubbo wasnt looking at him and it made Ranboo feel even more out of place. Tubbo hadnt been worried about touching any of the other friends he’d met up with.
“Well I think I would, it might feel like a hug. Plus you keep leaving me hangin’ with my high fives.” Tubbo giggled and it aleiviated the tention and soon both teens were rolling around laughing.
“I didnt think that you can’t get real hugs.” Tubbo mentioned after they’d calmed down.
“Yeah.” Ranboo responded absently as he scuffed his shoe on Tubbo’s desk.
Suddenly Tubbo’s heat was alot closer and then enormous fingers gingerly wrapped around him. He slipped his arms between them and bent at the waist so when Tubbo lifted him he’d be sitting on one of his fingers. Tubbo slowly brought his tiny friend to his chest for a hug.
“Is this good?” Ranboo could feel Tubbo’s voice vibrate around him. He reached out and grabbed fists of his friend’s short to get impossibly closer to him. Ranboo took a moment to reapond.
“Yeah.” There was a moment of warm silence before Tubbo began to pull away, Ranboo tried to grab onto more of his shirt.
“No. Not yet.” Tubbo smiled with a stupid grin. Even though Ranboo being tiny was not planned for, and ruined a lot of his plans, he was happy he was getting comfortable with touching his friend, and he was glad Ranboo had told him about his problem.
And if Tubbo moved himself to the sofa and rested his hand over his tiny friend on his chest, and if they fell asleep like that, then no one but them had to know.

After the confrontation Ranboo starts to notice that Tubbo touches him a lot more. Even when they’re just hanging out Tubbo will tap his head with his fingertips or gently rub his back. He’s still pretty nervous about touching someone so small, but he tries a lot harder to give Ranboo the touch he needs.
Also a couple nights later when they’re both lying on Tubbo’s bed to watch the office, Ranboo is surprised to feel soft fingers wrap around his torso. He looked back at Tubbo, but the boy didn’t even seem to notice what he’d done. Within a couple more minutes Ranboo was held close to Tubbo’s chest with the human’s fingers snug around his torso like a hug.
It felt so nice that Ranboo didn’t even really mind that Tubbo’s thumb was blocking his view of the screen :”]

His hair is longer on the left side of his face and curls at the end of it. It also goes to the base of his neck in the back. The part above his right eye is actually important to know that it really does curve up and that oval shape I keep drawing under it is just the shaded hair underneath...
For a ref, have this scrapped version of his face that I was using when drawing earlier...I changed the expression but HERE

But which C!Orchid?
You know what, I'll ramble about the two C!Orchids
So, I've been thinking about like if there ever was like a fox hierarchy, then I would feel like Fennec Foxes would be at the bottom, due to how small they are.
And since both Orchids are Fennec Foxes, you can imagine the neglect that they both faced between them and their siblings.
However, this is where things get a bit different.
The OG C!Orchid doesn't face bullying until Middle School.
While the other C!Orchid face it in 4th grade.
OG C!Orchid goes through depression, while the other C!Orchid has pent up anger, anger that has been there since 4th grade, but never let out up into college.
There are many differences between these two C!Orchids.
OG C!Orchid:
Has medium curly hair, pretty peaceful, dislikes violence, eye bags aren't that dark, stressed out 24/7, very approachable person, uses Them/They pronouns, likes going into cuddle sessions with their denmates, has met C!Becky and C!Brick.
Opposite C!Orchid:
Has short curly hair due to them cutting it, will use violence at anytime whenever someone attacks them, very aggressive, eye bags are very dark, still stressed out 24/7, is not approachable, uses She/Her and Them/They pronouns, doesn't give in to her instincts since they don't trust anyone to be part of her den, has never met C!Becky and C!Brick, and probably never will.
