Today (4/19, I finished this a little late), 2 years ago, my cat Ginger died. She was run over by a car and/or eaten by coyotes, my dad couldn't tell. Her death was really hard on me - her and her sister Pepper were basically the only things I was living for at the time. The knowledge that I had living things depending on me kept me going. When she died I still had Pepper, but it didn't make it any easier. I could talk about the good things that her death brought about, but I'm tired, and drawing this took a lot out of me emotionally. This scene in specific is Pepper and Ginger as they are in me and my friend's warriors fanclan -- so, Briarshade and Willowpelt. Here, Briarshade is mourning the recent death of her sister, and asking the stars for answers where there are none.
