Brian Walshe was in custody for obstructing a police investigation into his missing wife when he received an additional warrant for her murder, Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey confirmed in a statement. He will be transferred to Quincy Circuit Court for his arraignment, Will take place on January 18. Evidence Breakdown: Evidence has been mounting since Brian, 47, told police he last saw his wife alive in the early hours of January 1, when he claimed she had left their home in Cohasset in a "work emergency". In court, prosecutors said the Boston native deceived police by trying to hide his whereabouts in the days after Ana was last seen. Sources close to the investigation also said a search of Brian's phone revealed he had googled 'how to dispose of a 115lb woman's body' in the days after the disappearance from Ana. Brian has pleaded not guilty to the original charges against him and is being held in lieu of $500,000 bond. Prior to her murder charge, it was unclear whether investigators had discovered Ana's body or relied on other evidence. Dramatic Events: The dramatic events of the past few weeks stand in stark contrast to Ana and Brian's seemingly idyllic lives. The couple, who married in their native Serbia in 2015, have often been pictured smiling with friends or alongside their three children, aged 2 to 6. The first breach in the family's enchanted guise came in 2018, when Brian was arrested for trying to sell a fake Andy Warhol painting online. However, despite the legal issues, the couple seemed happy. Last June, Ana, her mother and her sister wrote enthusiastic letters to a judge about Brian's personal progress. After Ana disappeared, however, the couple's friends recalled the signs that trouble was brewing. Mike and Mandi Silva, former tenants of the Walshes, told The Post last week of Ana's mysterious rush to dump her belongings in Massachusetts and her shocking reaction when confronted with it last month. "She was like a whole different Ana," Mandi said of the typically composed career woman's meltdown.
