10 Things in Life that my Personal (and often painful) Experience Has Taught Me:
Friends... if you’re reading this... thank you for being here! I have not shared my written thoughts here for a while and yet, I’m here again... and I look forward to sharing more :)  See below for 10 VALUABLE things Life has taught me that I was pondering over the weekend and beyond...
1. Seek the full and complete TRUTH… it will always set you free.
---> even if it’s painful, humbling, devastating, heartbreaking... there is Love and wholeness available on the other side of discovering the TRUTH no matter how messy the healing process may be.
2. Love Heals... Tolerance isn’t love… choose LOVE
3. Deception isn’t blatant... otherwise it wouldn’t work. TAKE CAUTION.
4. The easiest way to be convinced of a lie, is when you’re told the truth SLIGHTLY twisted … which is still a lie. TAKE NOTE.
5. FEAR is one of the easiest ways of controlling people … don’t give into the bait!
6. Follow the money trail … nuff said
7. The hunger for more money, power and control never satisfies … it’s an endless appetite for more. PURPOSE is GREATER.
8. If we believe we don’t have a choice, it’s often because we’ve been convinced that we don’t have a choice... not that we ACTUALLY do not. CRITICALLY THINK for ONESELF.
9. At the end of the day (month, year, decade, century, or world), LOVE always wins đź’•
10. Lastly… RELATIONSHIP really IS the most important thing 💕💕
I’d love to hear from you! Do any of the above statements resonate with your own experience... or something you might be encountering now? Â
I have so many stories and examples of things I’ve walked through around each of the above statements. And as I was processing them, I found it helpful to write these statements down before unpacking them. If you’re curious to hear more, please let me know! I love sharing my story in hopes that it benefits others :)Â
In the meantime... HAPPY MONDAY! Have an amazing week! I look forward to sharing again soon!Â
xoxo, Brey

What "Alt for Norge" has Meant to Me...
I return from a world that lasted two months of my life a changed person. Of course, the core of me remains, but so much of me has shifted in the best ways possible. I have always had high values, dreams, desires and had a love for life, family and others, but sometimes, these same principles of life get lost in the shuffle of life’s demands and the stresses that accompany them. What took two months to accomplish in my mind and heart, could have taken years of striving and constant frustration. The past five years in LA have been necessary for me, for my career, for my strength and for my personal growth. But I didn’t realize, until I was in Norway, what I was starting to loose that is so foundational to the wellness of my person. I am a lover of life, a lover of people, and a lover of God. I don’t know if it’s the nature of the environment I live and work in, or the stresses of fighting to be me when everyone else tries to change who I am, or the simple act of forgetting. But somehow, I had lost some of the core pieces of me. My intense focus had caused me to forget some of the simplest, yet most significant parts of life…finding adventure with people, traveling the world, learning from the world, learning new things, living new experiences, breaking out of the “American Bubble”, the richness of culture, taking different kinds of risks, embracing the unexpected and seeking it too! I think all such things are valuable for a rich, fulfilling and balanced life.  I thought after Norway I was going to make some significant changes, when really, the most significant changes were simple, internal adjustments that have significantly changed me in ways that are bringing greater strength to the life that I already have.Â
I have learned from the people. I have learned to be vulnerable. I have learned to trust. I have learned to take risks in relationships and different risks in life. I have experienced a different face of love and beauty and friendship. I have learned something from every person and been blessed by them too.
I have learned from the challenges. I have learned to think differently, strategically, focused and yet open. I have learned to have FUN, and that nothing really matters that much unless I can enjoy it! I have learned to relax when everything wants to make me crazy ha! But unless I am cool, calm and collected, the moment passes and chaos joins the moment. NO GOOD.Â
I have learned from the experiences. I have always taken life so seriously and said it multiple times, but really…I have REALLY learned to relax, embrace the moment, enjoy, and live it up! There is an art to embracing and honoring the past, while letting it help shape and create the future, while living very presently and effectively in the moment! I feel like Norway is an expert at this. I think it’s an art, a balancing act, and a learned life-style that is easily lost in other places of the world. Thank you Norway for being an example that I hope to carry on in my life.Â
Most of all, I have learned how better to live in love. Not everything is easy…most things aren’t haha. But there is always something or someone to love. No matter the circumstance, the outcome or the result, love remains and beauty too. But I think it’s often a choice to recognize. Ultimately, we are responsible for what we choose to see…the good, the bad, the ugly, and the beauty, but love will always remain. And the choice of love will always remain. A difficult moment can make me either stronger or weaker, love more or hate more, I’m forced to choose. We let each moment shape us in one direction or another, and I love that! In recognizing this, I had to choose NUMEROUS times what direction I was going to let my circumstance take me in and how I was going to let it shape my mind and my heart. I have never been so aware of this before, and I have never had so many opportunities to put it into practice and let it shape me.Â
I am grateful…so grateful to be Norwegian and to have experienced and learned things that truly will shape my future! Norway is my second home…I found a piece of my heart in Norway and that has a lot to do with the people.Â
What my experience did for me is so much more than words can say, but thanks to you, I am a richer person because of it and my life will forever be impacted because of a Bubble-World I once was in for two months called…Alt for Norge.
All my love,
Breyanne
