Wild Speculation About Luci-Oh’s
I don’t have a ton of time or energy to write right now, and it’s late as I even write this, but hey, we got a new entry in the long proud(?) line of video game cereals introduced to us today in the form of Overwatch’s Luci-Oh’s. Do we know anything about them? Frankly maybe I haven’t looked too closely into it. But do I plan to make broad assumptions about them for no real reason other than to get some brief dumb joke of a post done tonight? Of you bet your ass I do. We know the colors of the loops are yellow and green, sparking off a fear of a lemon-lime based cereal in my head, would anyone be brave enough to try this? I can tell you I wouldn’t. Of course the other possibility that I think of is that this cereal could literally just be repackaged Apple Jacks, a low key classic if you ask me.
And what’s in that included loot box? A victory pose of some character holding up a bowl of Luci-Oh’s, which are part of their balanced breakfast? An emote where one of the evil characters in the game just stands there and let’s the cereal get soggy? This is an infinite mystery that we may never solve, until uh, December I guess.
Look, in short, if you nerds bought awful Strawberry Lucky Charms because Nintendo told you the box was an Amiibo, I’ll be sorely disappointed if we all aren’t chowing down on these things the instant they find their way to that one target, you know the one, everywhere.
