Recently I had a really bad allergic reaction which being completely honest ruined my skin for a few days, my skin never breaks out so naturally I had the mini freak out and damned the product that broke me out from here to the moon. So that being said I wanted to show you the products I used that helped get my skin back to where it was before that damn face mask (clearly I’m still a bit bitter about it but I’ll move on after finishing this post lol).

So in my routine I start off by grabbing a cotton pad and using the Clinique Clarifying Lotion all over my face to get any makeup off me. I have been using this product for years and I love how no matter how full the coverage of the cosmetic this product takes it off effortlessly. What I love most about this product is even when you think your face is clean and you’ve grabbed everything this product will still find those last left over bits of product and truly cleanse your face.

After I’ve used the cotton pads I now wet my face and grab a pump of the Clinique Extra Gentle Cleansing Foam. This is a great product for when you have a break out because it isn’t too overpowering for the skin but it will help cleanse and make your skin softemr. Using this product is very simple first you need to damp your face and then you rub in the cleansing foam, after you have rubbed this in your skin for a minute or two in a circular motion you wash it off with warm water. After this step your face is left feeling so much fresher and it helps clear the toxicity in your skin.

The last step is moisturiser, this product is the Clinique Moisture Surge. This moisturiser is great for giving your skin extra hydration which during a breakout is very important. I love this product personally because it syncs into the skin effortlessly and dries in moments. This product also goes great under makeup but for break outs it also helps cool the skin down after a reaction.

Doing this routine for around 3 to 4 days really helped clear my skin up and really get rid of all the crap the reaction gave my face which you can imagine was a relief.
