Ingredients: 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded. 2 cups broccoli florets, blanched. 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded. 1 cup milk. 2 tablespoons butter. 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F 175C. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth and thickened. Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another minute. In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, blanched broccoli, and cheddar cheese. Pour the sauce over the chicken, broccoli, and cheese mixture. Mix until well combined. Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the top. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
