Challah and Cibatta are settling in well. They have discovered Ft. Baby

And they have determined optimal lounging positions in the bedroom

And Cibatta even sat in her litter box's box which resulted in a donation of 1 box of litter to a shelter!

They're Here!!!!!!

I know I am a wargaming blogger but as of TODAY my niche is extending to my kitties Chibatta and Challah.

Okay, so for those who aren’t privy to private skype conversations (i.e. everyone else), there was talk about our bread babies accidentally inventing pizza as Hiccup experiments with different dragon fires involved in baking bread. Cute right?

But then Eret has this brilliant idea. In his travels, years ago, he came across tomatoes. He insists that they’ll work perfectly with some of the new, strange breads they’ve made. He heads off to get some, promising it shouldn’t take too long. He’s on dragonback after all...though it is beyond the BA... and people don’t react well to dragons. There are some complications that could arise...

Not only that, poor Hiccup had gotten used to Eret in the kitchen all the time and starts to miss him... :’(  (yeah, no one was more shocked than Hiccup for missing someone who wasn’t a dragon. You don’t realize how far someone worms their way into your heart until they’re gone)

Anyway, so they have pizza! Yay! And tomatoes and yak cheese and what have you. Onto toppings (not topics, right?)

Ruffnut: would first and foremost try and introduce ice cream as a topping. (”My invention with YOUR invention! It’s perfect!” 

Snotlout: M E A T. Lets drizzle some stew on that pizza. Lets cut hunks of sheep leg for it. Lets leave neat and thinly sliced pig on it. Yum.

You know, it gets a little wonky. So, initially, no. Eret, while becoming an ally of Berk and a love interest of Hiccup’s, doesn’t stick around often enough for marriage. That’s the general gist of that relationship... though there could come a time when he stays a little too often, and their relationships accidentally moves into an actual relationship, and the next thing you know they’re doing things ‘proper’ and getting hitched.

There’s also breadmaker/fem!hicret/d!babies AU [#bread babies] where, while not married, Eret is on Berk, and basically acts as Hiccup’s husband. And they bake bread. Adorably. So freaking adorably.
