Beads of sweat traveled down a chiseled torso, and blue eyes focused on gray hardwood while approaching the archway into the kitchen to refill an empty water bottle. Travis had spent four hours working on full-body exercises in his home gym, and it had been entirely due to boredom. His usual routine lasted anywhere between an hour and a half, to two hours, so this was definitely an experience, and despite his fast healing... his muscles were beyond sore. A sigh escaped plump lips as he did what he came to do, and suddenly his head turned in the direction of the front door. Someone was outside, and he couldn’t pinpoint who it was until he heard the footsteps.

A smile spread across his face, and after chugging the entire bottle of water he’d poured just moments prior, he decided to meet Vanessa at the door. As soon as she stepped inside, he made sure to push his moist body against her, arms engulfing her in what he could only imagine being a very uncomfortable embrace. “Well, hello, gorgeous. I love it when you make surprise visits.” Compared to him, she really was a breath of fresh air.
