It had been hard to distance himself at first, but as Afonso kept himself distant and at times inaccessible, detachment and Daniel came as a gift.

The friendship the two shared grew closer, and over the past few years, they started meeting more, talking more, getting more involved (intimately or not).

If Afonso had called him, he didn’t notice.

Eventually he notices all the missing calls from him. Luciano calls back and is surprised when Afonso immediately picks up, he asks to meet him in person.

They agree to meet on a park. Afonso greets him with a smile and it makes Luciano feel guilty, even if the voice of reason inside him told him he did nothing wrong.

They make up for their time distant, Afonso talking about his work and how things had been going in the other continent. When he asks about what Luciano has been doing lately, he decides not to dance around the subject.

"I'm seeing Daniel."

Afonso loses his smile a bit, he stays silent for a while until he replies "I see..."

"I lost track of the time and forgot to answer your calls, I'm sorry."

"No, don't be. You did nothing wrong."

"Then why you look upset?"

"I'm not"

It's evident that he was lying, Luciano continues "I just thought that I also deserved someone to be my safe base. You're not leaving Arthur, but i can't count that I can always reach for you."

Afonso nods, the boy had a point

"Do you like him?" he asks "Are you two happy?"

Luciano finds himself smiling "Yes, we became good friends, even after all the mess that happened in the past. He knows how to play the harp, y'know? You should see how he strum those wires. I told him he could be famous but he keeps saying he is too lazy to go on tours." he chuckles.

"Then I'm happy for you" Afonso smiles a little.

But Luciano wasn't very sure about it.

You're doing nothing wrong, that voice speaks again.

"Do you wanna come home with me? We can have some coffee" Luciano offers, but Afonso refuses.

"I got work to do, only wanted to see you."

Luciano nods and they part ways.

"Remember to pick the phone kid" Afonso reminds him, Luciano smiles and nods.

Gives nose/forehead kisses: Paraguay. He is cuter.

Gets jealous the most: Brazil for God's sake XD . Little possesive as his father.

Takes care of on sick days: Paraguay. His mother taught him how to.

Drags the other person out into the water on beach day: Both, but mostly Brazil because he has a beach life.

Brings the other lunch at work: Brazil. He is more sociable and talkative.

Tries to start role-playing in bed: Both! Latinamerican blood burns.

Embarrassingly drunk dancer:  Brazil and he sings.

Firmly believes in couples costumes:  Brazil, carnaval, you know. Dani is shy.

Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas: None, both are poor XD

Makes the other eat breakfast: Paraguay.

Remembers anniversaries: Brazil. He cares a lot.

Brings up having kids first: Both love kiddos.

Kills the bugs: Paraguay.

First to define them as a couple: Brazil.

Who hides their guilty pleasures longer: Paraguay.
