♨️Apple Crumble
🔅➖🔅➖🔅➖🔅
💢For the apples:
〰〰〰〰〰〰
🔹5-6 Bramley apples (large)
Or
🔹10-12 Granny Smith apples (small/medium)
🔹60g Caster Sugar
🔹1 tsp of cinnamon powder
🔹 75 ml of water
💢For the crumble:
〰〰〰〰〰〰〰
🔹 230g Flour
🔹170g Butter (room temperature)
🔹50g Oats
🔹90g Caster Sugar
🔹1 tsp Cinnamon
🔴Preparation:
〰〰〰〰〰
🔅Peal your apples and dice them. Sprinkle on them sugar and cinnamon. You can squeeze some lemon juice on them if you like and mix everything up.
🔅Add a teaspoon of butter in a pan and add your apples with water. Leave it cook on a low heat for 10 minutes and stir occasionally. When it’s ready remove it from the stove and leave it to cool.
🔅While apples are cooling, prepare your crumble. Add all the ingredients together and rub the butter into the mixture with your fingers. You can use an electric chopper if you like. That’s what I did, you can see it in a picture above.
🔅Add your apples in a tin and flatten them. Then add your crumble on the top of your apples and bake it in the oven for 30 minutes / 160 degrees.
❇️You can serve your apple crumble with a custard or whipped cream, or just enjoy it without any extras.✔️
