anyway. trying to balance 'take my dog out when he is signaling he needs to go to the bathroom' with 'he has figured out if he stands by the door and looks sad i will take him out and then he just tries to chase squirrels and doesn't actually do anything' and i am getting the hang of it but also sometimes im like. if i ignore you right now will you have violent diarrhea all over my carpet
