When you create/imagine stories, do you find that the hardest part is getting the characters to work as you move them to the page in the writing stage? If so how do you like to tackle that challenge? If not, is there a different part of the writing process that you find challenging or have discovered unique workarounds for?

I don’t struggle from moving them from imagination to page. I tend to write as much as I can down so I know the main points, and then sometimes surprise myself with what comes up when I’m actually writing it properly.

So what I do find challenging is actually just words in general 😂 like descriptive words and trying not to sound too repetitive, because I feel my vocabulary is smaller than I’d like. So I have to learn and think outside the box a bit!

Again, I dare call myself a writer, but it’s been fun to get my ideas down on the page!

Good question! I’m so so new to writing, I was actually never great in like English class. But I used to always write poems and I was really good at those.

But I think I just love writing out a scene and seeing how it develops. I’ve always had a vivid imagination so it’s been really nice to actually write down all the scenes and scenarios in my head and actually be able to make something of it and read it back myself.

I also do enjoy learning more about writing, it’s been a massive learning curve for me. I’ve never been great with words I feel, so as I write it’s been nice to challenge my words and how I could write things differently and to expand my vocabulary!
