They become super overprotective, which at times could be nice, but most of the time it was overwhelming epeciaily when she was so used to them being very absent. She gets pretty frustrated that it took her literally almost being murdered for them to act like actual parents.
Eventually, as she gets older, they calm down, and for once, they act like normal parents. Despite it being the 60/70s, they are actually pretty accepting of her being a lesbian.
