this is so minor and such a throwaway line that it's not at all intentional, but i actually really enjoy bizarro speaking in opposites for lines like this!
for all that people like to make fun of other languages for assigning genders to things, it's so easy to forget how gendered and assumed masculine the english actually is
why is it generally okay to address a group of people as "guys" instead of "girls"? why is it generally accepted that "guys" is a gender neutral term but "girls" or "gals" isn't?
why is it weird or funny if a "failed" clone of superman—one of the most iconic heroes known for doing good and serving justice—speaks in a way that is opposite to gendered assumptions in language?
again, i'm not giving webtoons/dc any credit for such a tiny line that's obviously there just to reinforce how ~weird bizarro is, but i really do like that his speech patterns and mannerisms confront readers to think differently about common assumptions and to read in between the lines
