While I’m still breaking my head over continuity in my fanfic (esp. the beginning of the Variant outbreak), there are some questions/headscratchers arising in my mind:
Why are so many doors locked? Especially the staircases. Way to block access to emergency exits there... Not going to start with the (wooden) barricades (though I’d reckon these have been added by employees trying to hide/block ways for the Variants?)
Why does the only exit in the Male Ward seem to be the one leading to the courtyard, which appears to be an enclosed area with no way outside of asylum grounds? (Cannot gauge this entirely since the area is very dark in the game...)
Chris’ ability to navigate through the asylum and track Miles is still pretty impressive.
Part of me starts to think that so many employees ended up stuck, captured, and killed because of insufficient safety measures in the event of any emergency... (The building’s old and is, in fact, decrepit. Badly so.)  Â
