π Do you have any pets? Are there any pets that you want?
Do I have any pets? Pffft
That's an understatement. Seven dogs, a multitude of ducks, chickens and turkeys. We also used to have pigs but at the beginning of the pandemic, our government made it illegal to raise swine at home.
I'd love to have some reptiles. I love snakes, turtles and bearded dragons but my dogs all have a penchant to hunt; the retrievers have gotten really good at catching rat snakes and field mice, and Belladonna (the little toasty brown dingo) loves lizards in particular. Our walls are covered in geckos; she gets them all. I fear for any tiny pets we might have.
π What is a comfort movie/show for you?
Kiki's Delivery Service and South Park are the two things I put on whenever I need background noise or just something fun to watch without actually paying attention (i.e. when i'm cooking or crocheting). I think I've watched KDS eight times this year alone and I've rewatched every SP season thrice since covid started. It's gotten to the point where I can recite every episode from memory. That's not a problem, right? Rick and Morty is a close second, since they pulled SP from Netflix. I've rewatched all of R&M maybe 5 times but it's only a few seasons so it's much faster than SP's TWENTY FIVE π³π³
π What is a plant you find beautiful?
Generally speaking, I love all edible plants; rice, soy, fruit, dandelions, mushrooms (though, those aren't plants). If I can eat it, it's my favorite. Perennials are top tier. From our garden, my favorite ornamentals are False Shammrocks (Oxalis Triangularis), Persian Shields (Strobilanthes dyeriana), Plumeria/Frangipani (we call them Kalachuchi here) and the Spider Lilies are pretty dope too.
Also. The Nauclea Orientalis (Bangkal locally) is an ornamental tree with these amazingly fragrant burrs. We had one in the park outside our old apartment. It should be in bloom right now.
