Today I received the results of my QEEG (quantitative encephalogram) and the results were so affirming to how I think and feel and were in image form through the brain wave activity measured.
We were both surprised that I seem to continually get Distinctions and High Distinctions at uni when there is so much theta activity in my brain.
Oftentime I have a great deal of difficulty concentraining, retaining information, a lot of problems with present memory and many other things.
There is a huge amount of hypoactivity in my brain.
All of that is basically covering the area of my brain where executive functions lie, what they also found is commonly seen in people with ADHD but that is yet to be confirmed for me.
It was so affirming to have how my brain feels most of the time to be shown in measured activity. It blew my mind that what is most activated in sleep is mostly present in my brain all the time.
What happens next is case conferences and figuring out the next steps because we need to change this trajectory. Grateful for new people, new ideas, new ways forward š¤š»
