Blogs will always fascinate me. Tumblr is kind of like my attempt at figuring my brain out. It's limitless storage. Personal blogs allow you to see what you're interested in. They have everything you find/found interesting stored in one place, archived, forever. Imperishably, side by side. A lot of people criticize tumblr for not being a real blogging website because there are numerous tumblrs that are just endless streams of 'eye candy' pictures.
But I think those rolls of pictures say a lot. If you wanted to draw a chart of your brain, I'm guessing you would run out of room for all of your interests. You could vaguely compartmentalize but it would never reflect the infinite details, or extreme specifics. This is because trying to break down what you're interested in is difficult. And this is because you're interested in a billion different things. Blogs are just brain charts that have limitless space.
