Bracken and Xavier seated on the stairs of the porch. They watched the car pull into the driveway. Brack knew that it was Candice before she even got out of the vehicle. He watched her run over to Xavier and himself. She hung tightly to Brack. Lily looked at Brack then Xavier. "What are the police saying?" "Not a lot. That they found her car and there is blood on the steering wheel. Connor is missing too." Xavier looked out over the driveway and lawn. He took a long pull from the glass whisky. His eyes were bloodshot. Xavier looked back over at Brack and Candy. "I want my wife and son back. Damn Candice I found a pregnancy test in the bathroom. She could be pregnant as well." Xavier was completely distraught. He didn't know what to do with himself. "Who would take my family?" Xavier asked out loud. Candice looked up at Brack. He could see the anger rising in her eyes. Brack took in a deep breath. They both had that ah-ha moment. "I think I know who possibly stole them." "Candy, whom?" "Avis. I believe that she is trying to get at Candy by taking the one person of her biological family. I don't trust her father as far as I could throw him. That is bloody far. Avis and Alton showed up at our wedding uninvited." Candy and Xavier listened as Brack talked. "Avis is up to no good. She is going through my God damn sister to get to me. You don't mess with my family," Lily growled. "We need to get a handle on this. I want a plan in place. I can't have any of you getting hurt," Brack's eyes glowed bright blue. Xavier, Candy, and Brack walked into the house seeing Brayden and Avery sitting in the front room. Avery ran over to Candice and hugged her tightly. "I am sorry, Lilly," Avery cooed. Brayden looks over at Brack and Xavier. Xavier continues to drink the whisky in his hand. He didn't know how to keep it together. Xavier wanted control. "Let's get the upper hand in this.
