Settling In at Qualfon: New Beginnings and Quiet Lessons
My training at Qualfon is off to a smooth and steady start. The environment is new, yet surprisingly welcoming, and Iāve met both new faces and familiar ones. Weāre currently learning the basics of the account and getting hands-on with the tools weāll soon be using on the production floor. At first, it felt overwhelming ā so much to absorb at once ā but once I started to get the hang of it, things became manageable.
I spent most of the first few days familiarizing myself with the systems, workflows, and expectations. Thereās a lot to prioritize, but Iāve managed to stay afloat, which Iām proud of. Iāve also met people I naturally blended in with ā sharing laughs and light-hearted moments before the real pressure of live calls kicks in. These training days remind me of how valuable it is to enjoy the process before things become more routine.
One thing Iāve been reflecting on lately is my tendency to be outgoing and overly open. I enjoy connecting with people ā itās part of who I am ā but Iām learning the value of setting boundaries. I often forget that not everyone is as open, and that many people carry quiet burdens and past experiences that make them cautious in forming bonds. Itās something I want to be more mindful of moving forward ā not just for them, but for myself too.
I donāt know how long Iāll stay here, but I want to make it meaningful. Iām slowly letting go of the paycheck-to-paycheck mindset. What I really want is to build something ā a career with purpose, stability, and growth. I know itās just the beginning, but I feel hopeful.
Three days in, and itās already been a blast. Letās see where this path takes me.
š§ Moral Takeaway: Starting something new isnāt just about learning new skills ā itās also about learning yourself. Growth happens not only in what we do, but in how we relate, reflect, and choose to move forward with purpose and boundaries.
