His second favorite thing about Halloween is the movies, not the scary slasher films, but the kid shows like 'the scary godmother' which is his favorite EVER or Casper the friendly ghost. They just warm his mechanical heart with all the friendship and nostalgia that he wasn't even there to see, but he feels it nevertheless because he can (🥀Placebo effect). They're feel good films to him, and they cheer him up when he's feeling down, he often watches them even well after Halloween just to have a pick-me-up self care day. It makes the world seem like not so much as a shit show, you know?

Dear God, please don't make him dress up for Halloween, please give him some semblance of pride. And if you do, make sure it's something cool, like a ninja or a pirate! Don't give him some frilly, stupid victorian outfit to match a 'vampire vibe', he wants cool, damn it! COOL! Like hooks and chains and awesome weapons to play fight with!

No. You're not getting all that candy.... because you're sharing it with him! He drove you to get the candy, by society laws he gets a piece or two! Damn! Don't be greedy! He really only wants some just to indulge with you and taste what you're eating, it makes him feel closer to you.. But he will stop you if you eat too much, he doesn't want you to get sick. Honestly, he's really not that big a fan of sweets, but the sweets he does eat most always have something either dark chocolate related in them or they're cherry flavored, and yes, he does in fact enjoy the fake-ass cough syrup cherry things too. He'll bicker with you about it, don't hate on his cherry yummies.

He does not fuck with Jolly Ranchers though, he hates them, he wishes they'd disappear forever. Anytime he sees one, he grimaces and gets mildly annoyed simply by their presence. He tried one once and had such high hopes for it, he had heard such good things, only for it to taste like how radiation sludge smells. It's abysmal, in his opinion, this is how villains are born, he claims.

He has many Halloween plans just for the two of you, the kids actually helped him plan it (mostly the girls, because the boys' ones were nonsensical and insanely extreme, like trying to summon a ghost, and he doesn't want that karma... But he did keep one they offered, which was a water gun fight, which, of course, he'll be crediting them fully for lest he be egged.) He's totally going to take you to a movie, complete with all the snacks you could possibly dream of, then he's gonna take you to TP the chief's tree outside of his office, then he's gonna grill out with you.. After that? Well, then there's the water gun fight, of course!

He was planning on helping the kids trick or treat, THEN taking you out to do all those lovely things, but then everyone volunteered the commissioner against his will to do it, and since he thought it was super funny, he didn't argue.

As for autumn... it's alright. The leaves flying up everywhere and getting stuck in his grill and windshield wipers really annoys the hell out of him, but otherwise? It's kind of pretty, he guesses.. it's not as pretty as winter with all its pretty icicles everywhere and the rolling snowy hills, or his gorgeous partner (Ahem, you), but whatever.

He does not like pumpkin spice anything whatsoever. It smells far too strongly, he likes hints of scents, HINTS, not blinding smells that stays in your nose for like thirty minutes after you take a single whiff.

He finds amusement in the shape of pumpkins, he thinks they look goofy, and they make him smile every time he sees one. Especially if they have carved faces, he could sit there and laugh at them for hours.

He'd love to go through a corn maze with you, but he might insist on carrying you because of the high potential of there being snakes and other possible dangers in there (In his smaller body, of course, he wouldn't want to cheat and see the end).

As for Halloween day, he'd love to take you for a little drive and maybe convince you to trick or treat just to see if you can get away with it as a grown ass adult... he bets you can. He's wagering with the guys that you'll manage it, go ahead, make his day! After all that though? How about you two go to a lookout and just enjoy the day, maybe bring some snacks and watch a movie on a laptop while relishing in the crisp fall air while it lasts before the harsh chill of winter takes hold? That sounds like a perfect day to him, personally. Autumn is beautiful, yes, but the fact the leaves die and all the pretty flowers that make him sneeze hellaciously are gone saddens him, even if their pollen does get on his nerves and overwhelm his sniffer sensors, he still enjoyed and, quite frankly, cherished the option of sniffing one and smelling the sweet scents if he wanted to. But even though the flowers are gone, he still manages to find the good in it all, like how pretty the leaves are now and how necessary a process all the seasons are to nurish the world and continue the cycle of life... The only reason he knows that is because Shadowmaru forced the information onto them during a 'manditory' meeting, but nevertheless, even though it aggravated the shit of him, he does appreciate the smaller things now because of it, so he's thankful.. He's not going to tell him that, though. He makes sure you always wear a jacket and a scarf or at least take them with you if you go out and it's warm, you never know when it might drop a degree. Is he overprotective? Sure. But he'll be damned if you get a drippy nose under his watch.

If you knitted or crocheted him a scarf to match yours, he'd wear it like a badge of honor, and he'd be eternally grateful. (All the other bots will be sooo jealous, and some will even beg like whiny pups for one too. Dumpson will not be pleased with their behaviour.) He does try to make soup for you to warm you up (Even though it's really not that cold, he's just getting in some practice before the coming winter), and unsurprisingly, he does manage to burn it a bit. Luckily for you both, it just heightened the flavors rather than actually adding a burnt taste. His culinary skills still have a ways to go, but he's getting pretty good, in your opinion! You're looking forward to the nice stew he has planned tomorrow. He likes to pick particularly yellow or red leaves from trees and give them to you as a little gift for you to dry and keep forever, it brings him great joy to be able to forage for little things for you to keep like lovely treasures, it makes him feel special.

He also has a tendency to pick up unusually perfect acorns and grow trees out of them. He takes care of them until the next spring where he plants them in places they're needed, like burnt down forests and parks. He claims, 'I just think they deserve a chance at life', but really he just has an untamed maternal instinct. God forbid he finds a kitten anywhere, he'll never give it up, if he finds one, it's his now.
