This is the face of a shy man who hangs out at the library because he has a stupid crush on you, the librarian. You guys have some cute conversations, and you flirt occasionally, but he gets really flustered and overwhelmed sometimes. He does his best though. It’s cute. But sometimes it’s SO FUNNY because you’ll ask if he needs help finding anything and he’ll panic and be like “UM A BOOK” “Okay I can help with that. What sort of book?” “Uh.... a book on.... uh.... birds. No. Uh. Art. Um. Bird. Art. Bird art!” “Bird art?” And he is still having a Panic so he just GOES WITH IT and so he’s suddenly found himself checking out like 5 different books on birds in art.

He actually finds them kind of interesting (he figured it’d be dumb to not read them especially if you asked about them when he returned them so now he knows Way Too Much about Bird Art)
