Details: A fluffy sunrise spent with boyfriend!Jongdae

Having been on tour for quite some time, it felt like heaven to have Jongdae by your side once more. The past few days had been spent with the both of you attached to the hip; forever clinging to one another in every room of the house, it doesn't have to be said that not much got done around the house during that time. And though Jongdae had been home for almost a week now, he still hadn’t been able to shake off his jet lag. 

It was almost 5 am, and Jongdae had moved a chair to sit by the window in your bedroom. He’d been tossing and turning for hours, hell, he even thought of waking you up, but he knew better than to do such a thing. He sighed, rubbing his tired eyes as he saw the first glimpse of the bright sun. He grinned to himself, remembering the pictures of night skies he’d taken whilst on tour and sent to you. The sun, the stars - they’d been one of his comforts whilst being so far away from you for such a long time. As the moon and stars gleamed during those nights, it meant another night without you, but as the sun rose over the horizon, it meant he was one day closer to getting back to you. 

At the thought, he looked over his shoulder to see you already looking at him. 

“Oh, did I wake you up?” He asked. You shook your head sleepily as you quite practically rolled out of bed and shuffled towards Jongdae. With open arms, he tugged you onto his lap, chuckling lightly at the sight of you struggling to keep your eyes open. “You should go back to sleep, silly.” 

“Wanna see it.” You mumbled, pointing to the window. Jongdae looked up to see the hues of the sunset melding with what was once a black sky. Though it certainly was a beautiful sight, and as cliché as it seemed to even himself, Jongdae much preferred to watch you instead. The way you smiled softly at the sky and closed your eyes in content. As you rested your head against Jongdae’s chest, he pressed a kiss to your hair. 

“I love you.” 

“I love you too. Now, let’s get some sleep, hm?”

Concerning PDA, Jongdae would only really go as far as holding hands but in private, he is definitely more touchy. speaking of, he’s the type of guy that if discovers you’ve fallen asleep on him he’s suddenly trapped on the couch under you bc he Will Not move so as not to disturb ur sleep

u guys talk for hours and lose track of time when ur together

very playful relationship too tho it’s not all seriousness

play wrestling is a thing too but jongdae’s always letting you “beat him up” and being very dramatic with his reactions

I can’t imagine fighting with jongdae is something that’s very common

it would have to be something kind of big before you got into a full blown argument over it

i feel like he respects your differing opinion and as long as you can talk civil about anything he’s up for debates

so it’d be kind of hard before you reach the point that you’re officially like In An Argument

then I think jongdae will pull away

not that he doesn’t think it’s worth it to hash it out together but more like, he needs to go collect his thoughts on his own and also he doesn’t like for you to see him very upset

so he might disappear for a few hours or a couple of days, at most, but he’ll stay in touch via text and say things like ‘i’m not mad baby i just need time to think’

he takes your relationship very serious from the start bc he knwos you aren’t someone he wants to lose

he’s very invested in this relationship

so when he’s ready he’ll come back and sit you down and insist that you work through your fight together

he’s very into making love vs fucking you

don’t get me wrong i think jongdae is a whole top and a lowkey dom BUT he’d rather take things nice and slow instead of just hammering into you all fast and rough
