Out of all the items in the @Boxycharm Premium box. This is the one I waited for. The palette is really nice but I really wanted to try this @koparibeauty toner so bad. It’s a spray toner and the other toner that I use requires a cotton ball. If you know me you know I’m a fan of functional packaging and not having to use my hands. I also needed a second bottle of toner for my upstairs bathroom so I will quit having to shuffle my one bottle between bathrooms. • • This multitasking toner is vegan and Alcohol Free, it helps keep my redness at bay and acts as a primer or simple refresh any time of the day. I would have to say the best thing about these @boxycharm brushes to me has been the cute little clear bag that the set comes in. The brushes seem super generic but are a cool shape. We weren’t given much information on these but I don’t think these have antibacterial tips, like the @modabrush brushes that I got (barely this month) from my September luxe. These are a little bit more like a previous box’s (#boxyaunaturale) luxie brushes that were very hard to clean. I will say these are unique shape so the bigger ones are slightly harder for me to use, I’ll figure it out with practice. • • Do I think that they’re worth the price that box put on them? To be frank.. no. I think that when you make your own product, you can (fairly) place whatever price you want on it. I did receive my #ModaBrushes after this and they are about the same price. I would use and repurchase them over these any day. I do enjoy that if boxy is starting to create their own products that it’s not makeup products, it’s tools. • • The price point they put on these, raised the box from a $277 value to a $342 value because they cost $65. I CAN NOT. Never will i ever pay that much for a set of these or comparable (quality wise) brushes. This @qmsmedicosmetics Intensive Eye Care eye cream cream that i received in my Boxycharm Premium box cost $150 and it’s available in the UK. I was also sent two other eye products this month in my base box by @boxycharm so I’m overwhelmed with eye products at this moment. • • I tried this cream and i mean it hydrated but i didn’t see anything spectacular. Certainly nothing I’d pay $150 for that’s for sure. Maybe This I cream will work better with the skin roller in next month’s box that i picked as my luxe item (it’s from also from #qmsmedicosmetics). So I’m just letting it sit until next month while i use up the other items boxy sent me. • • They’re probably a great brand but the price point on this product alone deters me away from it. This @NatashaDenona - Bloom Blush & Glow Palette is super adorable. It’s well worth the entire price of the @boxycharm Premium box (which was only $35) as this palette alone cost $50. The swatches are wonderful and the pigment on the blushes are amazing. This is my first Natasha Denona product and I am absolutely in love. The blushes and highlights are so gorgeous and blend out so well. • • The lil protective cover over the creamier formulas is not only some way cool functional packaging, but smart, nice and user friendly! Luxe beauty products aren’t always about the formulas to me. I’ve heard a lot of mixed things about @dragunbeauty but I chose to let my own experience speak for myself. I went ahead and tried this DragunFire Skin Perfecting Potion on my under eyes. I don’t have very much darkness there but I did put a couple dots and I noticed that it made my under eye area dry and my makeup crack, i guess it just isn’t a good idea for me to use. It says it’s good for all skin types but i don’t think so, it really dried me out and left and orange tint that i had difficulty covering up. • • The #BoxycharmPremium box doesn’t vary so if someone doesn’t need a product like this, we get it anyways. I’m not really sold on this “miracle product”. If it weren’t even in my box i don’t think I’d miss it. If it were at all hydrating maybe i could use it.
