German aerodynamicist Luigi Colani created a small coupé based on the rear-engined BMW 700 in 1963. His version was the world’s first vehicle with a self-supporting synthetic monocoque car body. Weighing only 350kg, the diminutive sports car with a 697cc two-cylinder boxer engine and a Cd factor of 0.22 could hit speeds of 200km/h.
I used to really love the STI hatchback, I'm more into smaller cars nowadays, but these are such incredible machines.
Think how fast that awd can take you with plenty power for what you could need on and off the road and with very little modification you can really have a fast machine.
It's a shame the engines don't respond well to a lot of power on stock internals if you want your car to the reliable for your only car, but that's not a proble, just upgrade the cooling and breathing parts to have the engine respond better to what it already has and upgrade that suspention!

2021 BMW R 18 Classic’s built on BMW’s Big Boxer platform, with an air-cooled 1,802cc opposed flat-Twin (also known as a horizontally opposed engine, is a type of internal combustion engine where the cylinders are positioned horizontally, directly across from each other on either side of the crankshaft. The pistons move towards and away from each other in a back-and-forth motion, resembling a boxer's punches, hence the name. This design results in a low center of gravity and smooth operation due to the balanced.
Typical of Boxer engine setup, this bike weighs in at 790 pounds which is Harley Davidson porky cruiser territory. It’s powerful enough 80 horsepower though and 109 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheel working through a 6-speed transmission mated to a single-plate dry slipper clutch and shaft final drive.
