Bowling Ball Beach...second attempt. After consulting with our handy dandy tidal calendar, we headed back to #bowlingballbeach to at the forecasted low tide. When we arrived the tide was not as "low" as we had anticipated. With the dark clouds and fog on the distant horizon, I decided to get to some higher ground and see if I could get a different perspective and perhaps capture the waves crashing on the unique round rocks. Using a #breakthroughphotography 10 stop ND paired with a circular polarizer, I was able to get a long exposure and cut the sun glare on the water. Although this may have not been the image I was seeking, my creative mind ran free and was able to capture something unique and beautiful! Later when looking at the tidal calendar, we realized we had been reading it wrong and actual low tide was at 7am not 5:30pm. Live and learn!
