If Remy has a gig, she always presses for location, time due back etc. She doesn’t always get it but she will always ask.

Rogue buys custom playing card cat stuff and the really high quality raw treats because she sees spoiling his babies as extension of showing him love.

Ororo places a soft, but firm hand again Remy’s chest, prompting him to stay lying down. 

“Making sure you don’t die, Gambit,” she answered, attempting to keep the curtness and disappointment in her voice to a minimum. 

How many times had she offered her help? How many times? How many times must he not ask for help and nearly get himself killed? How many times was she there to pick up the pieces? Yet, she attempted to keep her anger and frustration from festering.

     ❛  Ah’m not mad      ❜  A sentence that had to start like that was clearly a telling of something negative forthcoming.  ❛  Ah just wanna know whether yer took it.  ❜  It appeared that he still had no idea of what she was talking about, making Rogue sigh out of exasperation.  ❛  Mah hoodie, Remy. The one Ah wear in the mornin’, did’ya take it? ❜  Technically, it wasn’t really hers. She had hogged it from him during their time together, but it had become important to her; reminding her of safety and becoming a psychological sanctuary for her powers.

This was the second time he’d been caught. Perhaps it wasn’t so much the fault of the humans, but of his own for ‘observing’ them a bit too closely. In this situation, he couldn’t do much but cross his arms and frown.
