So today, 4chan added support for WebM so it could replace .gifs
I was going to post this bouncing light thing as a .gif, but I couldn't get it under 1MB (it was 5MB, hardly 425px by 301px), but a super simple conversion to WebM and the same .gif is now only 652KB.
Hopefully tumblr and the rest of the internet catches on, and replaces gifs. WebM is pretty awesome.
