Some more old art, this time it’s some art of other characters (and some more art posts coming up are from other characters :) ); this art piece was commissioned by botsbuildbots via Toyhouse of their characters Orcamola (left) and Ribby (right).
(This art piece was originally finished on October 3rd, 2022.)
...on the Portal 2 Soundtrack: Songs to Test By, there is a track, the title of which is lisp code. While I appreciate this, it irritates me faintly that all it does is call itself. It's an infinite recursion that doesn't actually do any work. Here it is:
(defun botsbuildbots () (botsbuildbots))
Lemme walk you through that. "(defun ...)" defines a function. The first argument ("botsbuildbots") is the name of the function, and the second ("()", the empty list) is the arguments to said function. This function takes no arguments. Everything after the argument list is the body of the function. In this case, the body of botsbuildbots is "(botsbuildbots)", which is to say it calls itself, and then returns the value that it gets from the recursive call. Of course, the recursive call won't return a value - it'll just call itself again. And again. Until the computer runs out of stack space but yeah.
I guess it's a reasonably clever reference to the complete automation of the Computer-Aided Enrichment Centre and the pointlessness thereof?
Important PSA for all weekly stream goers
Erin is still at camp, So no stream tonight and probably not at all this week. I believe she comes home tomorrow but I'm not sure if she'll want to host right after camp.
If anyone else can host that will be great, if you want I can get livestream on this computer see if it works and we can do that. I'd need movie ideas though
and stop changing your urls

7 facts about my childhood
I lived in LA until I was 5
My arch nemesis in preschool was Forest Whittaker's daughter. We would always play Sailor Moon during recess and we both felt the need to always be in charge so one of us would have to be Sailor Moon and the other would have to be Sailor Mini Moon and whoever didn't get to be Sailor Moon would always get REALLY REALLY ANGRY.
I never slept much even when I was a little kid. I didn't sleep through the night until I was like 3 and In preschool I always helped the teachers get the other kids to nap because I could never sleep
My best friend Chad and I were always convinced we were super spies/scientists
I was obsessed forts/underground hideouts and I always really really wanted to build one but my parents never wanted to buy the supplies -_-
I never owned any kind of gaming system. I had computer games, and played the Harry Potter games endlessly, but I never got into Pokemon or Mario or Zelda or anything because my parents had this hatred for video games
Um...I met a lot of celebrities as a kid apparently! I don't remember any of it because I was really young, but my mom used to bring me to the set with her a lot when I was younger and the actors would all play with me
