So I woke up from a nightmare and now I can't fall back asleep. And I'm just laying here and started thinking about prof Layton cause it an excellent series and you recent fan art made finish watching the anime. And like theirs no way kat isn't aware of earnest's feelings. And I was like how could she just string him along like that but had the revaluation that she knows and is just waiting for him to come and out and openly admit it. Or at least I hope that's the case. Thoughts?
yep, very much what I felt was happening- there’s various stories in the series which are about people taking a step back to allow other people to do something that’s important for them to do themselves, and having started to play through the game I feel this angle even more so (her ‘won’t someone kiss me strongly like that-?’ bit at the end of the film-scene theft case is MUCH more flirty in LMJ than in the show!) also I genuinely really like that they don’t make anything actually happen between them? I mean I ship the ot3 and Katnest is a part of that for sure but I actually appreciate that nothing happens; it makes their relationship feel much more platonic/respect based, and Kat is cheeky! leaving it open ended fits well with her free-spirited personality :Tb
