the way I am going insane about the mimic I've been reading all stories that relate to Edwin/ the mimic and the epilogues and I'm starting to understand (it's still confusing and they still haven't handled the mimic in game very well and there are still a lot of plot holes and retcons and such) but I'm starting to understand and I'm actually???? starting to like ????? the mimic?????
all this to say I read the story "The Mimic" and I have NEVER in my life wanted to parent a kid more than with David and it's SO WEIRD I don't even want kids irl but like reading the story was making me so sad I just wanted to protect this kid and be there for him πππππππππ and it kinda makes me so sad that the only thing ppl ever say about David is memeing the song (which yes is hilarious but still there is a genuine interesting story there) I wish instead of 3 short stories in a book they fully focused on Edwin and the mimic and fleshed it out more cause (and I know the bar is in hell) it was actually a pretty good story compared to most of the fazbear frights and tales from the pizzaplex books I wish they explored it more it definitely has the potential to be amazing but they're holding themselves back with trying to tie it all in with the current cannon it's messy and I wish it was just it's own story or parallel universe or something
I have SO many thoughts about the mimic and this whole story line and how it all comes together and I'm really hoping that the game is good
