[Jade is pretty good at holding her own and evading enemies, so she would likely survive an ambush. Currently, since she cannot remember her past, she has no one to protect or hold her back. She is only looking out for herself, which is much easier than covering for someone else. Ultimately, it depends on what is threatening her survival. She can take on a group of bandits, but could she fight Jack? Who knows.]
