Back to school
So I made the decision to go for my bachelor's after 7 years, after I attempted at nursing school. While just getting a job promotion and dealing with my crazy home life with one child on their way to the Air Force, my middle child having their own mental health challenges, and my youngest just being the Tasmanian devil, he is going through life. Oh, and my wonderful husband is working like crazy during Chief Season for the Navy. Now is the time I choose to go back to school full-time! Well, ya know me, I love a challenge and I love to stay busy, but even this is a little much. It will all calm down a bit soon in a few months, but these next few weeks are gonna be a challenge. I am going for my Bachelor's in Human Resources to give myself the degree for the jobs I have been doing, in hopes that when the Navy moves us again, I can get job offers at a higher pay rate that I am already doing the job in. I get the jobs due to my background and experience, but man, you add in a Bachelor's and the pay scale goes way up! Plus, it gives me options in the future if we are stationed in another place, like we currently are, with few job options for me, online/remote jobs will be an option with that degree as well. So it will all be worth it in the long run, just got to not lose my head until then.
Any words of wisdom for me??? Keep us in your thoughts as we tackle another challenge.
