With tenderness. The only way that is possible to treat a live creature. An animal will be useless with terror, on whichever step of evolution he would be. It's what I have said, am saying and will always be saying. They're vainly thinking that terror will help. No, no, it will not, whatever it would be: white, red or brown even! Terror completely paralyzes the nerf system.
Preobrazhenskij
A classic satire on proletariat "renaissance" in the twenties by Bulgakov introduces a completely fictional and harmless from the first view story of a dog Sharik turned into a human so called Sharikov (the added ending makes him a legit human with a surname). Mr. Sharikov climbs the career ladder stepping on everyone in his way, destroying the animals he once was himself as well as his creators and makers. His persona represents the freedom of working class, the feeling of power, freedom of actions and unexpectedly received rights unveil an unattractive egoist in every single member of society. The lesson of the novel insists that without deus ex machina dr. Preobrazhenskij, the creator, would be doomed, predicting mass repressions in the thirties. Novel written in 1925, saw the light only in 1987, a year after, a black and white movie directed by Bortko was released commemorating books popularity and gaining a permanent place amongst classics.
