Lowkey miss being a sweet loving girl, the pleasure is doubled but so is the pain. I miss being able to be vulnerable comfortably. These defensive walls are a pain. Necessary but heavy. the older i get the more and more tired i get of stories that feature angels and demons as "functionally just humans with magic, but with extra wings tails horns or halos" obv in terms of character design but also in terms of how their morals, personalities, mindsets, and communities are presented. ideally for me they should be somehow fundamentally off from how humans understand "normal"--just operating on entirely different software. i just need there to be some tangible sense of inhumanness, otherness. otherwise what are we doing why are we here
