1. Who are some of your favorite artists?
This is always a difficult question, because I don’t know how to define this. Do I have to know most of their discography, or can I just know their radio singles, and LOVE THE FUCK OUT OF THEM? The latter is the reality for me and most of the music I love. I’ll know maybe 1-5 songs out of a 5 album discography (or maybe 1 album out of 5+), and I wear them out.

I don’t have a genre preference on the whole, but my favorite music tends to be from my childhood and adolescence (90s - ‘05). The 90s have a great thing where the music was amazing across genres. Rap and R&B was poppin’. Alternative Rock was awesome. Top 40/ Pop music wasn’t shit. Everybody was listening to country, too.

If Your Girl Only Knew by Aaliyah. I was listening to that song as my ride slowly drove past this VW van that was engulfed in flames. I have no idea what the reality was, but as a kid I assumed that people were still in there, so that song was hard to listen to for years, as it triggered that memory.
